We are an award winning architectural firm in Monmouth County seeking architects with construction administration (CA) experience to work as our Field Rep on educational projects, currently located in Flushing, Queens.

Responsible for managing all aspects of projects in construction and closeout phases. This will include attending and leading construction meetings, generating meeting minutes, reviewing field conditions and preparation of Architect’s Field Reports, reviewing and responding to RFI’s, reviewing shop drawings, reviewing and evaluating change order requests, preparation and processing of Bulletins, coordinating project activities with contractors, clients, and construction management, review of contractors project schedule and submittal schedules, review of contractors pay applications for accuracy and payment, and problem solving on-site issues. In this position you will be responsible for efficient use of your time, of personnel supporting you and to monitor it against the project budget. All work is presently located in New York City.

Requires a minimum of three years of construction administration experience. Strong verbal and written communications skills required.

Proficient in AutoCAD (latest version) a must, Revit experience a plus. Advanced knowledge of building codes, full understanding of Addenda and Construction Change Directive procedures. Experience working on educational projects is preferred.

Award Winning 45 person Architectural Firm in Neptune, NJ is seeking Architectural Designers (B.Arch. preferred) with 4+ years of experience to work on medium to large scale retail, commercial and educational projects.

• Design innovative architectural concepts in direct response to unique user and programmatic contexts through the integration of leading-edge planning, engineering, interiors, and other required systems. Define and develop functional and spatial requirements of new structures or renovations, and prepare information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.

• Responsible for the coordination of the project design and project team.

• Prepare and review design documents, construction documents, shop drawings, and materials for compliance with design intent and program requirements

• Develop design drawings, such as plans, sections, elevations and models using hand drawings as well as advanced CAD and 3D software. (Proficiency in REVIT a plus)

• Solve complex problems in connection with the architectural design of projects through the integration of building simulation and research to optimize building performance.

• Assist in development of local office standards, policies, and procedures.

• Confer with clients, consultants, contractors, and others during various stages of project development.

• Guide and encourage the development of other staff
