MMA was the architect for Volvo’s new 38,000 square foot automobile dealership located on 2.7 acres. The two story, 21,000 square foot interior showroom is connected by a custom stainless steel elevator. Upstairs, overlooking the showroom, is a 5,000 square foot office space. The building had a poured in place foundation with masonry bearing walls, masonry veneer, metal frame, curtain wall, built-up roof systems, and exterior insulated finishing systems. Due to site restrictions, MMA designed the service area to be below grade, to include vehicle storage areas as well as 17 state-of-the-art service bays.
