Founded in 1997 by Gabriel J. Massa, RA, AIA, NCARB, and John S. Montalto, RA, AIA, the MMA team of architects, project managers and administrators offers its clients a complete package of innovation, quality and resourcefulness.

MMA has earned an excellent reputation in both education and retail architecture. Over the past five years, they have completed over fifty school projects ranging from new school design, classroom additions, classroom renovations, life safety design, long range facility planning including model development, educational specification development, and maintenance and repair work. MMA's strong professional relationships with members of the NJEDA, NJSCC and NJDOE contribute to the successful and timely completion of each educational project.

In as much time, MMA has created and re-created over 2.5 million square feet of retail space - from prototype design to new store development to remodels. Retail projects include preliminary store design, site investigation, planning board review and feasibility studies for drug stores, supermarkets and fuel centers, as well as convenience, clothing and shoe stores.

MMA is currently licensed in twenty states, including New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware. NCARB certification allows MMA to become registered in other states on an as-needed basis. MMA is currently pre-qualified with the NJEDA/NJSCC and the NJDPMC.
