Oak Street Health
Casting a new light on healthcare innovation, the Arlington, Texas Oak Street facility, akin to its counterpart in Carrolton, stands as a beacon of transformative design within the existing Walmart store footprint. Spanning approximately 1,780-sf, this visionary project was crafted entirely within the confines of the existing building, showcasing the seamless integration of healthcare services into the Walmart space.
In this endeavor, Walmart managed the traditional design-bid-build focusing on infrastructure elements, while MMA's revolutionary IPD via DfMA approach elevated the project with an emphasis on providing all finished materials. MMA's design services became the hallmark of this project's distinction.
MMA's design brilliance flourished throughout, from conceptualization to the meticulous execution of every detail. With a keen eye for precision, MMA orchestrated the installation of premanufactured walls, glass partitions, casework, doors, fixtures, and a state-of-the-art vacuum plumbing system, redefining the space's functionality and aesthetic.
MMA's magnet technology played a pivotal role, seamlessly integrating equipment and accessories onto walls while optimizing spatial efficiency. The incorporation of a forward-thinking vacuum plumbing system epitomized MMA's commitment to sustainability and innovation, reducing environmental impact while ensuring operational efficiency.
Where construction typically takes months, MMA's portion of the build was an astounding feat, culminating within just two weeks. The Arlington Oak Street facility, a testament to MMA's ingenuity and design finesse, radiates sophistication and functionality, setting new benchmarks in healthcare infrastructure within an existing space.
